Dang It.

(pretend right now that I am studying and not blogging)

And then, read this dumb story...

I work in Spanish Fork. And I have the best job ever. Anyway, today I was driving back to Provo after working, and getting some good eats (wow, saying that makes me miss Megan, Bethany and Craig all at once) at Berry's. What is dumb about this story? The part where I got LOST coming back to Provo. I guess any of you that have ever been in a car with me behind the wheel, know that I am terrible at directions. But, I HAVE MADE THIS DRIVE BEFORE! ... more than once. (too embarrassed to say how many times). Pathetic. That is the only word I can sum this all up with.

HOME is wonderful. The part where I do no homework - not so good.

I have some great things to blog about - but they will have to wait until I catch up.

I know I have you at the edge of your seat... sorry. Just wish me luck on my two tests this week.

SO glad to be home and reunited with the sisters!
We haven't stopped laughing since we got here.

Oh How I Love...

OH how I LOVE these girls...

AND Oh how I LOVE this...

When those two girls LAUGH late at night, since the only thing dividing us is a (not so) soundproof cinderblock wall.

I found this article to be quite funny - and a little interesting too....

If you have a minute, let me know what you thought of it!

Click HERE for it.

Here is a little taste of it...

"We need four hugs a day for survival. We need eight hugs a day for maintenance. We need twelve hugs a day for growth. - Virginia Satir .......... I'm in trouble."

(A good example of a type of hug - the falling over laughing hug)

Keep Breathing

So, tonight I'm obsessed with this song. The music. The lyrics. Everything.

Listen, love, enjoy.

The storm is coming but i don't mind.
People are dying, i close my blinds.

All that i know is i'm breathing now.

I want to change the world...instead i sleep.
I want to believe in more than you and me.

But all that i know is i'm breathing.
All i can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing now.

All that i know is i'm breathing.
All i can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing now.

All we can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing
All we can do is keep breathing.
All we can do is keep breathing now.

Isn't it funny?

Isn't it funny how you can know someone for almost TWO years. and yet... they know nothing about you.

Isn't it funny when you make your intentions SO CLEAR. and yet... that same person can NOT pick up on a tiny hint.

Isn't it funny that someone can make you SO MAD and that same person can have NO IDEA.

Isn't it funny how you can put SO MUCH time and effort into loving someone... and in TWO SECONDS they can make it seem like a big FAT waste of your time.

Isn't it funny how worked up you can get over something that shouldn't be a big deal, but it is because it is a repeated problem.

Isn't if funny that you can care SO MUCH more than another person, and they can be affected ZERO and to you it can make all the difference in the world...

Funny right?

Cranberry Juice and Scorpians

Tonight Chase and I decided to run to get some Taco Bell and then stop at a gas station for drinks. This is a list of things I learned from the experience.

1. Cranberry Juice is SO SO SO good. Easily my favorite drink. Yum.

2. Don't diss on scorpion suckers. I did. Bad idea. The guy at the cash register was not happy about that. Interrogated me on my experience with them. Didn't approve. And then I was quickly lectured on how good they are. Let's be honest - karo syrup covered scorpions on a stick? SICK.

3. Lastly - I found out that it is REALLY easy to laugh, when I am in a good mood. There was a guy walking his dog .. sort of. I got a good minute long laugh out of the part where the guy was actually tugging because the dog felt like that was a good place to sit.

It was really quite an eventful trip.

OH and did I mention the part where I AM SO HAPPY/LUCKY to be with the fam? Because I am.

My Father's Birthday...

So.. yesterday my father turned.. not very old :) AND today I got to drive down to Saint George to spend the weekend with the family! WOOHOO. We had dinner tonight with all seven of us (plus Jordan's parents) and it was wonderful. We have not been together since CHRISTMAS! And I loved every minute of it.

Back to the reason for this post.. A BIRTHDAY!

Mostly this is to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! I can't even imagine/dream/wish for a more wonderful person to be my dad than YOU! I hope your day was spectacular!

.... Here is the present I made him ...

Oh did I mention that I my dad was really handsome too? Well... He is.

Out of the Oridnary

Lately, I've been thinking deeper than usual. Why? There are various reasons, but I feel like I am learning a lot more by spending my free time (walking to class and before I sleep basically) thinking.

These monologue by Kay Panabaker in the 2009 production of FAME is what has been on my mind today.

I think it is one of my favorite quotes I heard in the year 2009.
(cheesy, yet I love it)

“There are a few things that Success is not…

Success is not fame, money or power

Success is waking up in the morning so excited about what you have to do that you literally FLY out of the door

Success is getting to work with the people you love

Success is finding a way of connecting and binding them together

Success is connecting with the world

Success is falling asleep knowing you did the best you could

Success is joy, friendship and freedom

Success is LOVE”
